Celebrating World Disability Day at Swat Institute of Rehabilitation & Medical Sciences In collaboration with the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Saidu Teaching Hospital, our students, faculty, and staff united to raise awareness. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Nisarudin for his inspiring address, emphasizing accessibility and rehabilitation's impact on the community. This year's theme, “United in action to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals for persons with disabilities,” underscores the crucial role of inclusivity in global sustainable development. Notably, PMR at Saidu Teaching Hospital is the first CPSP accredited department in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. An awareness walk led by Dr. Nisarudin brought together physiotherapists, SIRMS students, and dedicated faculty/administration from Central Wing SGTH Swat. Together, we highlighted the theme of 2023.
